Halesite Provides Mutual Aid to Cold Spring Harbor for Fire on Crane Court

The Halesite Fire Department was called to a working fire earlier this morning at a private residence on Crane Court. Cold Spring Harbor First Assistant Chief, Bill Tremblay, requested a ladder truck from Halesite. A total of eight members under the command of First Assistant Chief Dan McConnell responded to the fully involved house fire at approximately 2:30 am.

The fire, captured above in a photo by Mike Gunther, began in the garage and extended into the home's living quarters on both the first and second floors. Halesite's firefighters assisted in both firefighting operations and overhaul.
