Hose Handling Drill at Halesite Fire Department

The Halesite Fire Department conducted a hose handling drill on Sunday, October 23rd, at the Flower Hill School. Halesite's newest members drilled on all steps involved in putting an attack line into operation. Some of these members are pictured at right flowing water through an 1 inch and 3/4 pre-connect. New Engine Company member Steve Lapp is on the nozzle. He is backed up by fellow Engine Company member Wayne Jeno and Hose Rescue Company member Hank Waldron. 1st Assistant Chief Dan McConnell is standing next to the men providing instruction.
