Halesite Provides Mutual Aid at Two Cold Spring Harbor Fires

Members of the Halesite Fire Department recently provided assistance at two separate fires in Cold Spring Harbor. On January 11th, Halesite sent an engine crew to stand-by at Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department's headquarters during a fire on Coldport Drive.

The second took place early on January 28th and involved Halesite sending its ladder truck to a fire on West Neck Road. The photo at right shows Halesite's firefighters overhauling the two-story, three car garage that burned. Photo courtesy of Steve Silverman.
