Halesite Called to Outside Fire on East Main Street

The Halesite Fire Department was dispatched to an outdoor fire at 77 East Main Street on Wednesday, March 13th.

Upon arrival, members found bags of shredded newspaper in various stages of fire. Members quickly extinguished the fire using a booster line from Halesite's first due pumper. The fire was confined to the parking lot and no injuries were reported. Members were under the command of 2nd Assistant Chief Jamie Magerle.
