Halesite FD Visits Bay Crest Beach Camp

Members of the Halesite Fire Department visited Bay Crest Beach today to present fire safety to more than 30 children attending camp. Brad Gaito and Wayne Jeno from Halesite demonstrated equipement used on Halesite's ambulances and fire engines. The children learned many things including reasons to call 9-11 and what to do if your house catches fire. They also took turns spraying one of the hoses on Halesite's newest fire truck, 222. Joining Brad and Wayne were members Larry Northcote and John Cannon.
