As a member, I am impressed with the quality of training the district provides and as a resident of Halesite, I am grateful to have the fire house at the bottom of the hill always ready to answer ambulance and fire calls.

Justin Chermak Joins Halesite Fire Department

New Halesite FD Member Justin Chermak.
On Tuesday, May 20, 2014, Justin Chermak of Huntington, NY joined the Halesite Fire Department. Justin works locally and is in the Marine reserves. He was sworn in to the Engine Company by Commissioner Wayne Jeno.
