Halesite Fire Department Co-Hosts Free Wills Event for First Responders

During the day lawyers volunteered their time to create wills and other valuable estate planning documents for more than 50 first responders and their families. The event occurred at the Halesite Fire Department and was open to all first responders in the area.
Dan McConnell, Chief of the Halesite Fire Department, hosted the attendees on Saturday. He said, "It is a distinct honor and privilege to host this important event. I'm pleased to say that feedback from those who participated was unanimously positive. Everyone who came down to Halesite was very grateful for the work done with many remarking that they finally accomplished a goal they long set out to do."
This event was particularly special for Chief McConnell as he is not only Chief of the Halesite Fire Department, but he is also a Senior Account Executive in MetLife's National Accounts division. "It was amazing to see two big parts of my life come together to help others."
The W.I.L.L.S. Event occurs semi-annually with the next one planned for November 8, 2014 in Farmingville, NY.
