Helicopter Medivacs Halesite Burn Patient

Suffolk County Medivac helicopter gets ready to leave Mill Dam ball fields for the Stony Brook University Hospital Burn Center.
On 9/26/15 the Halesite Fire Department was called to aid a person who was severely burned on their lower extremities.

Halesite contacted the Suffolk County Police to Medivac the patient to the Stony Brook University Hospital Burn Center. The Huntington Fire Department sent an engine to cover the helicopter landing.

The scene was under the command of Chief Dan McConnell and Assistant Chief Greg Colonna.
