Halesite Provides Engine to Fire at King Kullen

On April 30, 2011, the Halesite Fire Department was called to provide an engine to the Huntington Fire Department for a fire at King Kullen. The fire broke out in a freezer off of the meat department sending smoke throughout the building. Halesite's members, under the command of Chief Andy Magerle, supported members of the Huntington Fire Department with the ejection of smoke from the building as well as overhaul operations.
