Halesite Responds to Motor Vehicle Accident

The Halesite Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident Sunday night October 30th. The crash involved two cars at the intersection of Cove Rd. and Huntington Bay Rd. Halesite's firefighters used Hurst "Jaws of Life" equipment during the alarm and also stretched a hoseline as a precaution. A total of five patients were transported to Huntington Hospital using ambulances from Halesite and the Centerport Fire Department.
