Patient Evacuated to Stony Brook Medical Center via Helicopter

Sunday, March 11, 2012

Members of the Halesite Fire Department responded to a victim of a fall on Saturday morning, March 10th, at the rear of Halesite Plaza on Route 110. An adult male fell from the roof and was transported to Stony Brook Medical Center via aviation provided by Suffolk County Police. Huntington Fire Department stood by at the helicopter landing zone at Mill Dam with one engine. Halesite's members were under the command of 2nd Assistant Chief Greg Colonna.
