Halesite Fire Department Helps Fight East End Wildfires

Monday, April 9, 2012

The Halesite Fire Department joined with over 100 volunteer fire departments from Suffolk and Nassau Counties to fight wildfires in Ridge and Manorville. A total of 10 volunteer firemen from Halesite under the commend of Chief Andy Magerle took one engine and an additional apparatus to the East End of Long Island on Monday. Pictured at right are Halesite members helping keep the fire in check.
