Halesite Extinguishes Dryer Fire at The Crescent Club

Monday, June 18, 2012

Approximately 30 members of the Halesite Fire Department responded to an early morning dryer fire at the Huntington Crescent Club on Monday, June 18th.

The fire, which occurred in a commercial dryer located in the club's basement, was contained by the buildin'gs sprinkler system and finally extinguished by Halesite's firefighters under the command of Chief Andy Magerle.

Centerport Fire Department was on scene as the Rapid Intervention Team; Huntington Fire Department stood by in Halesite's headquarters with one engine.
