Halesite Called to Two Mutual Aid Fires

Friday, March 15, 2013

Halesite Fire Department was called to help neighboring fire departments at two recent fires.

The first, on February 28th, was a request from the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department. Halesite was requested to send a ladder to the scene of a fire at the CSH Plaza Deli on Main Street. Members are pictured at right at the store.

The second was a mutual aid request from the Greenlawn Fire Department on Thursday, March 14th. Halesite was requested to send an engine to the scene of a house fire on Briarfield Lane.

At both calls, Halesite's members were under the command of Assistant Chief's Greg Colonna and Jamie Magerle.
