Halesite FD to Host Free CPR Class-Class is CLOSED!

UPDATE-Class is full, no walk ins!

Thursday 7/24/14 at 7:00pm at the Halesite Fire House.

This event is open to the public to promote awareness of the life saving capabilities of "Hands Only" CPR. Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an "out-of-hospital" setting (such as at home, at work or in a park). Attendees will be shown proper hand placement for compressions and will be taught to give the most effective chest compressions.

*Note: there will be no certification received for attending this class
