As a member, I am impressed with the quality of training the district provides and as a resident of Halesite, I am grateful to have the fire house at the bottom of the hill always ready to answer ambulance and fire calls.

Halloween Brush Fire in Halesite

Sunday, October 31, 2010

Members of the Halesite Fire Department responded to a small brush fire last Sunday, October 31, 2010, on Cove Road. Members responded with one pumper and quickly extinguished the fire. Pictured at right is Probationary Firefighter Mike Conforti, extinguishing the fire under the direction of Engine Company Lieutenant Dom Spada.
