Halesite Responds to Car Fire on Cove Road

Tuesday, January 11, 2011

The Halesite Fire Department was called to a car fire Tuesday afternoon on Cove Road in Huntington. A total of 17 members responded to the alarm under the command of 1st Assistant Chief Dan McConnell. The vehicle, pictured at right, veered off of Cove Road while traveling east, crashed through a fence and collided with a tree on the property of a private residence.
